Alison + Chris II Wissahickon Engagement Session II Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

When Alison & Chris first inquired with me about wedding photography I *almost* thought it couldn't be a real inquiry. Everything they talked about being important to their day and what was most significant to them really hit home with me. I was thrilled when they decided to book and even more so when they wanted to do an engagement session. They mentioned to me that they loved the candids and emotion of my work and I wanted to capture that for them, so I took a complete step back from any posing I might use when my couples need some direction. We met at Wissahickon Park for a hike. We spent the afternoon talking, walking, and getting to know each other. And I snapped away while we talked.

What I love about these two is how they gravitate towards each other. What I picked up on through our first talk definitely came through in person. They are genuine, caring, loving people. We had such a good time hiking through the woods and I even got to document their pup attempting her first swim! Their wedding day was even more amazing so stay tuned for an upcoming blog featuring that!

Kaitlynn & Sean || Valley Forge National Park, Philadelphia, PA || Philadelphia Engagement Photographer

Kaitlynn, Sean, their adorable pup Sam, and I met at Valley Forge National Park on a stunning fall day. I always try to plan my engagement shoots around sunset because I am constantly chasing that beautiful light. We couldn't have picked a better day! Kaitlynn and Sean were a dream to work with. They snuggle up together in the best way. We spent a few hours walking around the park, getting to know each other better, and really just enjoying the moment. I am SO excited for their wedding this October. Here's a few of my favorites from that day. Can you get enough of Sam's bowtie?

Megan + Tom || Private Residence, King of Prussia || Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

I was lucky enough to be a part of Megan and Tom's intimate wedding at a private home in the King of Prussia area. The day couldn't have been better, from Megan's beautiful BHLDN dress, to their adorable dogs joining the ceremony. It was a wonderful celebration of their love for one another and it showed throughout the day. One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is the really talented people I get to work with. I've made connections with other photographers, some I even get to call friends now. I love what I do and I feel that second shooting keeps my eyes fresh and always exploring for different perspectives or views. Katch Silvia reached out to me to work with her on this wedding and we had a wonderful time with Megan and Tom.

Murphy Family || Plumsteadville, PA || Bucks County Lifestyle Photographer

Megan and I literally grew up in each others backyards. We met in nursery school and were inseperable. Somehow even though we never went to the same school, we stayed as close as could be. Our summers were spent outside, imaginations running wild.

We shot this family session in her parents backyard. Her oldest reminds me so much of her when she was little that it took me back to our childhood days! If I had only brought some My Little Ponies to play with O, I think I might have felt like a kid again.

Katie & Shawn || Paxson Hill Farm || Bucks County Wedding Photographer

When Katie and I met at Paxson Hill Farms to scout locations for portraits and just check out the venue, it was a gorgeous day in August. We walked around the Farm and practically jumped up and down with excitement. Its an amazing place to visit, full of surprises at every corner.

Closer to her wedding day the forecast turned to rain and boy did it rain!! Katie & Shawn couldn't have had better attitudes about the weather. Nothing was going to ruin their day, just being together was all that mattered. With rain boots in tow, they were married under a sea of umbrellas, and then threw the most wonderful, muddy reception ever.

Arionne + Mike's New Hope Engagement Session

I've known Arionne since High School and was SO excited when she asked me to shoot her wedding. We met on a cold February day in New Hope and spent a few hours walking around town. These two love to laugh, have fun, and thats exactly what we did. Even though their toes were frozen by the end of our session, they never complained and were all smiles.
